KAA

Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) is the owner and operator of nine civilian airports and airstrips in Kenya. Kenya Airports Authority was established by an act of Parliament in 1992, by the ruling Kenya African National Union government. The KAA Act, Cap 395, provides for the powers and functions of the Authority. Its head office is on the property of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Embakasi, Nairobi. Their mission is to provide consistent and delightful travel experience.

KICC

The Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) is a State Corporation established under the Tourism Act 2011 whose objective and purpose is to promote the business of Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conferences and Exhibitions also known as MICE. The Kenyatta International Convention Centre is an icon and landmark for Kenya. KICC boasts of being the leading facility in the meetings industry in East Africa and has held quite a number of regional and international conferences like the World Bank Conference in 1973, Inter-parliamentary Union summit in 2008, other UN based conferences, 8th African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) to name a few.

Rural Electrification Authority (REA) was established in 2006 for purposes of enhancing rural electrification in Kenya. REA’s mandate is to accelerate the pace of rural electrification in order to promote sustainable socio-economic development. Following the enactment of the Energy Act 2019, Rural Electrification Authority (REA) has now changed to Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC). REREC has an expanded mandate of spearheading Kenya’s green energy drive, in addition to implementing rural electrification projects. REREC is committed to provide quality and Sustainable Energy Solutions to all through Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy solutions for social economic transformation.

Kenya Railways

Kenya Railways (KR) is a State Corporation in Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development. The corporation was established in 1978 under the Kenya Railways Corporation Act (Cap 397) of the laws of Kenya to take over the railways section in Kenya after the collapse of East Africa Community in 1977 which managed the East African Railways and Harbors Corporation. The entire railway system in Kenya consists of a single-track main line from Mombasa to Malaba. The core mandates of the corporation are to provide an efficient and effective rail and inland waterways transport.

KCAA

Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) was established on 24th October 2002 by the Civil Aviation (Amendment) Act, 2002 with the primary functions towards; Regulation and oversight of Aviation Safety & Security; Economic regulation of Air Services and development of Civil Aviation; Provision of Air Navigation Services, and Training of Aviation personnel KCAA. Its mandate is to plan, develop, manage, regulate and operate a safe, economically sustainable and efficient civil aviation system in Kenya, in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Aviation Act, 2013.
